Preparation:Ship specimens Monday through Friday to prevent delays. Carefully review all instructions and collection procedures before starting. The first saliva sample must be collected at least 30 minutes after awakening—set a timer if needed. Do not take supplements until all four samples have been collected, eat or drink anything for 1 hour before collection, brush, floss, or have dental work done 30 minutes prior, consume caffeine, or use "anti-aging" creams. Before each sample, wash hands and rinse the mouth with water, then wait 10 minutes before collecting to prevent dilution. Cosmetics may be used, but should not interfere with sample collection.
Test Results:
7-14 business days once received at lab. May take longer based on weather, holiday, or lab delays.
