What is the purpose of this test?
Glyphosate is a widely used herbicide and the main ingredient in Roundup™ and many other weed-killers. It's used by homeowners, farmers, and city workers to control weeds. However, exposure to glyphosate has been linked to several serious health conditions, including some cancers like non-Hodgkin lymphoma and kidney problems. It can also disrupt the balance of good and bad bacteria in the gut. Mosaic Diagnostics' Glyphosate Test measures the level of glyphosate in your body through a urine sample. This test helps identify your exposure to this harmful chemical.
Who should get this test?
The Glyphosate Test may be beneficial for:
- Individuals living or working near agricultural areas where glyphosate is used.
- People concerned about their exposure to pesticides and herbicides.
- Individuals experiencing chronic health issues like gut problems, autoimmune disorders, or fatigue without a known cause.
- People who consume non-organic food and want to check their glyphosate exposure.
- Those with a family history of cancers linked to glyphosate, such as non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
