Preparation:Sample collection must be performed by a phlebotomist. It is recommended to get your blood drawn and sample shipped Monday - Thursday only to avoid shipment delays. Freeze the provided freezer brick for at least 8 hours prior to your blood draw. You must bring this with you to your blood draw. Please speak to your healthcare provider regarding timing if you take any of the following medications: Glucocorticoids (such as prednisone), Dopamine, Lithium, Interferon-alpha, Phenobarbital, Phenytoin, Heparin, Clofibrate, Carbamazepine, and Colestipol.
