What is the purpose of this test?
Order this ASH FibroSURE™ Blood Test, which is a noninvasive blood test that evaluates liver function in those suspected of alcoholic liver disease. This test uses 10 serum biochemical markers that assess liver function along with age, gender, height, and weight. The objective of this test is to offer alternative indicators for liver fibrosis, hepatic steatosis, and alcoholic steatohepatitis (ASH).
