What is the purpose of this test?
The Amino Acids Test – Plasma or Urine, 24hr. - Mosaic Diagnostics Test Kit provides a detailed evaluation of amino acid levels in your body, which are essential for functions like building and repairing tissues, supporting immune health, and aiding in neurotransmitter and hormone production. By measuring both essential and non-essential amino acids, this test identifies imbalances that may contribute to issues such as fatigue, poor detoxification, or metabolic challenges.
Customers can choose to collect either a plasma sample or a 24-hour urine sample, depending on their specific health goals and the guidance of their healthcare provider. Plasma testing assesses amino acids circulating in the bloodstream, offering a snapshot of current availability for bodily functions. In contrast, urine testing evaluates amino acid waste, providing insights into deficiencies, co-factor imbalances, or metabolic abnormalities. Only one sample type is required, ensuring a tailored and focused evaluation of your amino acid status.
